What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
Audience feedback was extremely important in the process of my A2 coursework. In order to appeal to the set target audience, during the construction stage regularly we peer assessed coursework as a class, not only for the main task and ancillary tasks themselves but also our blogs which had a part to play for our overall marks. Through this exercise my group actually under covered some issues with lighting which we could easily address, but at the same time we knew we were heading in the right direction in terms of the genre and mise en scene which was very encouraging. Alongside showing the finished ancillary task products to the class, I put our finished products as my display picture on Blackberry Messenger allowing my contacts to comment so I could get a wider set of opinions. The plus side of this is that feedback was that it was coming from my target audience. I learnt from AS the questionnaires are not so popular, with the increase in young people using social networking sites I used this to my advantage to get feed back efficiently.

The feedback was positive, meaning there was no need to make anymore changes to my product. However if there was some constructive criticism, we would of have the time to apply this to my our work. Many of the people that I talked to about the products said that they looked like real life forms of media, Immediately they knew what we were trying to portray. We had similar feedback from our final cut of our trailer, my partner I decided to post it on Facebook, Twitter and You Tube, within the first day of posting received more than 50 views suggesting that our trailer was something that interested the public. From the starting point of making our trailer we always knew that the name was important.
Not only did constructive criticism help with the making of the products but the positive feed helped me and my partner through the process as we then knew we were going in the right direction.
