Adobe Premiere Elements - Editing

I will be using Adobe Premiere throughout completing my coursework. Before filming my actual trailer, I have used pre- filmed clips just to get to grips with the software. I found this beneficial since I have not used it before. By doing this simple task I learnt to add the initial clip, edit it through spliting-  to help set and give a certain feeling like suspence.

A certain mood can be expressed in different ways; in the case of suspense short and snappy edits can create tension, but  by also slowly revealing footage can do the same. I learnt other editing techniques such as  movie transcitions such as fades which is used frequently in filming editing. There is also the oppourtunity to use a colour filter and add an audio to the clip. All of which will be useful for the final product.
