Music Permission

After our research of Soundtracks in Trailers, we decided to include a song called End Credits by Chase and Status featuring Plan B (instrumental). This track has already been used in a video game trailer- F1 2012 as well as in a film called Harry Brown co-starring Plan B himself.

All forms of media are so easily accessible this day and age. In the planning process we emailed for permission via the Chase and status website. I got a link to this site through Vertigo Records one of the record labels producing the song which is based in the UK like Ram Records another producer of the track.

Company Permission


Regarding the making of our film, we used a lot of different companies that make films to feature in our trailer. This made our trailer much more realistic, and therefore more believable. But before we could use these in our trailer, it was important that the company was aware that we cwould use it, as we know many of the companies have copy right, and we didnt want to cause havoc when we posted it on our youtube channel, so what we did was we loged onto the website of each of these companies.

Then we took the email address of the companies and asked for permission.

This way, we knew that the company had an idea that we would be using there signs, and this ensured that we would be able to use it.
